Turkey strives to normalize relations with Armenia - Erdogan
Baku/26.07.22/Turan: Turkey strives to normalize relations with Armenia and expects reciprocal steps from Yerevan. This was stated by Turkish President Erdogan, speaking on the TRT TV channel on Monday.
He recalled a telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which the process of normalization of relations between the two countries was discussed.
"Azerbaijan has been our red line from the very beginning. We said that we would "open our doors" after resolving the issues of Azerbaijan.
I am also satisfied that Pashinyan shares similar views with us regarding regional peace and cooperation. Now we expect them to take concrete steps beyond statements. We are set to establish good-neighborly relations with Armenia," Erdogan said. -02D-
