1,866 Carats of Contraband Diamonds Arrested at Baku Airport
Baku / 08.05.18 / Turan: Customs officers at the international airport of Baku seized more than 1,866 carats of diamonds from an Azerbaijani citizen who arrived from Dubai. The precious stones were packed in cellophane bags and placed in the suitcase of the man, whose name is not disclosed.
According to experts, the discovered stones are diamonds. According to the same source, the diamonds were not declared. Their approximate price is not reported. The investigation is under way. -02D-
