25 thousand hectares cleared of mines
Baku/01.04.22/Turan: As of today, over 25 thousand hectares of Azerbaijani territories have been cleared of mines. Over 55 thousand mines and unexploded ordnance have been cleared from the liberated territories. It was reported by the head of the National Demining Agency (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov, speaking at a conference on demining problems.
In turn, Assistant to the head of the state for foreign policy Hikmet Hajiyev stated that the Armenian side buried millions of mines in the territories around and in Karabakh itself. Only 25% of the maps of minefields handed over by Armenia accorded with real situation, he said. -02D-
