32 kg of drugs seized from drug couriers in Baku
Baku/11.01.24/Turan: During a police operation, 32 kg of drugs (26 kg of heroin and 6 kg of methamphetamine) were seized from two drug couriers, the statement of the Interior Ministry. Baku residents, previously convicted Zaur Hajiyev and Bahruz Jabiyev were detained on the Jalilabad-Baku road. During the inspection, the above-mentioned batch of drugs was found from the car.
During the interrogation, the detainees reported that the drugs were brought from Iran and hidden on the Azerbaijani side. The information was transmitted to them by an unknown Iranian through social networks. They were instructed to deliver drugs to certain addresses in Baku for a monetary reward. Drug couriers have been arrested; an investigation is ongoing. -0-
