583 new cases of coronavirus infection
Baku/03.07.20/Turan: 583 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Azerbaijan, 395 people recovered, seven patients with COVID-19 died, said at today's briefing the chairman of the board of TƏBİB (Territorial Medical Unit Management Unit) Ramin Bayramli.
The total number of infected reached 19,267. Of these, 10,820 recovered, 235 died, and 8,212 are being treated in special treatment hospitals.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 502,965 coronavirus tests have been made, including 7,137 over the past 24 hours. –06D-

Lawyer Agil Layij has accused the chairman of the Baku Court of Appeals, Mubariz Akperov, of mismanagement and called on President Ilham Aliyev to intervene. Layij voiced his concerns in a Facebook post, stating that Akperov's leadership has reduced legal defense to a "formal level."
