267 Active Patients with Coronavirus in Intensive Care
Baku / 03.07.20 / Turan: 267 active patients with coronavirus are in intensive care, and 59 are connected to mechanical ventilation devices, chairman of the board of TƏBİB (Territorial Medical Management Unit) Ramin Bayramli said at a briefing today.
According to him, if a special quarantine regime were not introduced, these numbers would be 3-5 times more.
He noted that experts advise serious preparations for the fall, because during this period other seasonal diseases are activated that are similar in symptoms to COVID-19.
Bayramli also noted that hospitals in Baku are 80–90% full, and in districts they are 25–30% full. 57% of the infected people are in Baku, 15% - in Sumgait, 6% - in Absheron, and 3% - in Ganja.
In the last days, the Salyan, Neftchala, Astara, Ismayilli, Agjabedi and Bilasuvar districts have also been assigned to the yellow high-risk zones. —06В-
