A sharp jump in coronavirus statistics - 6,620 infections per day
Baku/02.02.22/Turan: An anti-record of cases of coronavirus infection per day has been updated in Azerbaijan. Moreover, compared with the previous day, the number of infections increased by almost 1.5 thousand. So, over the past day, 6,620 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been detected. At the same time, 3,385 people recovered, 24 died.
The total number of infections since the beginning of the pandemic has amounted to 670,313, including 630,727 people who have recovered, 8,779 have died, and 30,807 active patients are being treated.
Over the past day, 18,797 tests for coronavirus have been carried out.
This means that out of every 2.84 tests, one turned out to be positive, which is also an anti-record for this indicator. -05B06-
