Baku /15.10.19 / Turan: Despite the medical examination carried out in the prison term of the journalist Afgan Muhtarli at the beginning of September, he has not yet been given a medical report, reported lawyer Nemat Karimli.
According to him, Mukhtarly complained of dizziness. "Doctors of the Prison Service Medical Institution examined him. However, the results are still not disclosed. Maybe his health is serious?" said the lawyer, recalling that Mukhtarly is suffering from hypertension and diabetes.
However, the deputy chief of the Main Medical Department of the Ministry of Justice, Iftihar Gurbanov, told Turan that Muhtarli does not have serious diseases.
"Muhtarly"s condition is stable and he was informed about the results of the examination," Gurbanov said.
