A meeting of the National TV and Radio Council of 13 October handed new sanctions on ATV channel and ANS. According to NBC, the first channel was punished for using unethical expressions on television, and the second - for violation of the Law on Advertising. Violations on ANS were recorded on May 15, 25 September, 4, 9, and 10 October. For every break the channel was fined 5,000 manat. The total fines amounted to 25,000 manats. Prior to that, for similar violations channel was fined 54,00 manats. ANS tried to challenge these decisions in court, but lost. -02D-
