Border Guards Replace Army Forces in Gazakh and Agstafa regions
Baku / 14.12.18 / Turan: By the order of the Supreme Commander I. Aliyev, the Border Troops will occupy posts and military facilities on the border with Armenia in Gazakh and Agstafa regions, said the commander of the border troops of the country, Elchin Guliyev, speaking at the reporting meeting of the State Border Service in 2018 on Friday.
He explained this decision by high combat readiness and equipment of the border forces. The decision will allow strengthening the combat readiness of the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, the creation of new reserve units.
In addition to Gazakh and Agstafa, a number of the following also regions border with Armenia: Tovuz, Gadabey and Dashkesan. Guliyev said nothing about these areas. -02D-
