Cemeteries Systematized in Nakhchivan
The dismantling of metal fencing started at the cemeteries in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic by decision of the regional authorities, as Turan IA earned from local sources.
“The iron fence around the graves is dismantled without explanation or permission,” said a resident of Nakhchivan.
Local activists regard it as a violation of the law and blasphemy.
Nakhchivan authorities do not comment on what is happening, but judging from publications in social networks, the decision is aimed at the harmonization of the cemeteries where all the graves have to look the same and be of standard size. -05V-
