Baku /22.12.20 / Turan: In the period from December 23 to 25 in Baku and Absheron, there will be unstable weather with intense rains, forecasters of the Ministry of Ecology said.
At noon on December 24 and until the morning of December 25, a strong northwest wind will blow at a speed of 15-18 meters per second, and sometimes up to 20-25 meters. The air temperature will drop by 4 degrees compared to previous days.
In the country, unstable weather will come from the evening of December 22, starting in the western regions.
It will rain in low-lying areas, and snow in mountainous and foothill areas. A west wind will blow at a speed of 15-20, and sometimes 23-25 meters per second.
The air temperature will drop by 3-5 degrees. Ice is possible on mountain roads. -02D-

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
