On the night on August 31, a district police of Sabirabad region, Eldeniz Guliyev and resident of the village of Khankechen, Azad Zeynalov, were shot. A lawsut has been filed under the Articles 120.2.3 and 120.2.7 (deliberate murder).
According to a preliminary investigation, there was a conflict between Azad Zeynalov and his countryman Gulhuseyn Abiyev. District police, lieutenant Eldeniz Guliyev, arrived to the scene to prevent possible serious consequences, and tried to encourage people to order. However Gulhuseyn Abiyev shot him with a hunting rifle, and then Azad Zeynalov, and fled the scene.
As a result of operational measures, Gulhuseyn Abiyev was arrested, investigation is ongoing, according to a joint statement of the Prosecutor Office and Interior Ministry. -03/4В-
