Court action on the claim of H.Ismaylova is postponed
Today Binagadi Court of Baku once again postponed proceedings against journalist Khadija Ismayilova. This time, the postponement was because of not appearance of a lawyer of the plaintiff - former opposition member Elman Turkoglu (Hasanov.)
The judge appointed a regular meeting on this matter on December 2.
The plaintiff claims that Ismailov had slandered him by publishing a paper on Facebook on the recruitment of Turkoglu by special services for the purpose of subversion within the opposition. Hasanov said that the information as false. In turn, Ismailov indicates that the article published by her does not contain the name of Hasanov. Ismailova considers the accusation against her contrived, and believes that special services are behind the claim.
The publication of these topics appeared in 2011 on Facebook on behalf of the user named Mustafa Ghozlu. -06/03B-
