Customs on Azerbaijani-Iranian Border to Work around Clock
Baku / 11.05.18 / Turan: The customs offices in Astara, Bilasuvar and Julfa that are on the border with Iran have been working around the clock since yesterday.
The Customs Committee of Azerbaijan reports that such a decision was made following a meeting of representatives of the border services and customs authorities of the two countries.
"This will help increase the trade turnover between the two countries, ensure round-the-clock operation of the North-South transport corridor and relieve the intensity of passenger traffic," the report said.
It is noteworthy that this decision was made against the backdrop of the introduction of US sanctions against Iran. -02D-
