On Monday, there was an opening ceremony of a new training center for the preparation of military scouts and snipers, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
In the center there are conditions to simulate the situation on the front line and conduct exercises in conditions close to combat, and for lessons on the prevention of reconnaissance and sabotage attempts of the enemy.
Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov visited the training center and got acquainted with the conditions created.

During search and operational activities, on January 30 at 11:20, 16.4 kg of drugs were discovered and seized in the area of the "Geytapa" border post, located on the Iran-Azerbaijan border.
