Defense Ministry rejected the reports of ill attitude to hang officer
Press Service of the Ministry of Defense has denied reports in a number of media reports that Lieutenant-Colonel Natig Baliyev hanged himself because he was allegedly demoted.
The report of the Ministry reads that Baliyev hanged himself in his apartment , which was given him by his command. The same report said that in July 2013 Baliyev was promoted , and in January 2014 was awarded the title of lieutenant-colonel. A few days later he was given three-room apartment in Baku.
In this regard, the Defense Ministry rejected reports in some media that Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Natig Baliyev committed suicide because of the conflict or persecution by his leadership, the report said.
