Double World Champion Fernando Alonso to Host Special Online Chat for Fans during Baku Visit
The newly announced 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe Ambassador, Fernando Alonso, will host a special online hangout for his global fan base during his first ever visit to Baku, Azerbaijan next week.
The online Q&A, filmed live and beginning at 14.30 Baku time (10.30 GMT) on Wednesday 9th March, will be hosted on the official Baku City Circuit (BCC) website at: https://www.bakucitycircuit.com/live
Fernando Alonso fans from all over the world are therefore being asked to send in their questions for the McLaren-Honda driver in advance via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to BCC’s social media feeds, using the #AskAlonso hashtag. The best questions will then be selected and put directly to the two-time World Champion.
Speaking earlier, Fernando Alonso commented: “I am really looking forward to connecting with my amazing fans from around the world and answer their questions live from Baku. This is a great opportunity for me to engage directly with everyone who supports me year in, year out and to gain an additional charge of positive energy before the start of the season. So, send in your questions for me and I will be ready and waiting to chat with all of you next week in Baku!” —06D—
