Baku/05.10.22/Turan: At 4:21 a.m. on October 5, tremors of magnitude 5.3 were felt on the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. This was reported by the Republican Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences.
The epicenter of the tremors was located in Iran, 80 km south of the city of Nakhchivan. At the epicenter, the thrust force was 5.9.
No casualties and destruction in Nakhchivan are reported. Tremors were also felt in Turkey, Armenia and Iraq. -0-
