Electronic Security Center Protects Ali Hasanov
Baku / 06.08.18 / Turan: The electronic Security Center at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies sent a warning letter to www.az24saat.org on the night of August 6. The letter was signed by the Director of the Center Faik Farmanov.
The Center demanded that the website's management remove the articles under the titles: Presidential Aide Ali Hasanov May Be Appointed Chairman of AzTV (published August 3, 2018), Press Council"s Congress - Birthday Gift for Ali Hasanov (March 10, 2018), Ali Hasanov - Person Who Incorrectly Informs Ilham Aliyev (February 1, 2018), and Who and Why Shut Down APA? (August 3, 2018).
The Center claims that these publications contain libel and lies.
On the basis of Article 13-3 of the Law "On Information, Informatization and Information Protection", the Electronic Security Center demanded that these materials be deleted within eight hours.
In turn, the head of the website Vugar Gurdganly said these articles do not contain bias or slander. These publications are of an informative nature," the editor noted. -06D-
