Four Islamists will be brought to justice
Thirteen participants of today's protest action outside the French Embassy in Baku, were detained and taken to the police. According to the press officer of the Interior Ministry, Orhan Mansurzade, a protocol has been drawn up in Sabail Police against four detainees on deliberate disobedience to the requirements of the police. In accordance with Article 310 of the Code of Administrative Violations, the reports were submitted to the court. Nine other detainees have been warned, and were released.
Four others can be imprisoned or arrested for several days. The court's decision will be known tonight.
On September 24, a few dozen people held a protest near the French Embassy, expressing dissatisfaction with the French magazine publishing cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed. -16D04-
