The French team has become champion of the World Cup among girls aged under 17. In a bitter game, late at night on October 13 in the final match in Baku at the Republican stadium named after Tofig Bakhramov, the French girls beat North Korea (DPRK). At the closing ceremony of the championship at the Republican stadium, the international star Shakira held a concert.
Note that the participants included 16 teams.
The host of the championship - the Azerbaijani team lost in the group all three matches respectively to Colombia - 0:4, Nigeria - 0:11 and Canada 0:1 and were eliminated from the championship in the first stage.
