General Prosecutor"s Office arrests the founder of "Ayla" company
The founder of the building cooperative "Isla" Ali Abishov has been arrested, according to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office. He was charged under Articles 178.3.2 (large-scale embezzlement of property by fraud) and 308.2 (abuse of power.)
Surakhany court of the capital authorized his arrest. The facts of violations of a building society is investigated by the Anti-Corruption Department under Prosecutor General. Ali Abishov is accused of taking 75,000 manat from 36 tenants for carrying gas to the new building, and the proof of ownership of housing (bill of sale.)
The domestic press has repeatedly written about housing scams on the part of building construction companies: "GEN", " Mur -Ay ", " Orhan ", " Shaik ", " Kyamran ", " Birlik ", " Fuad LTD", others. Thousands of investors have been deceived by these companies and have lost their homes and compensation. According to experts , the number of defrauded investors is more than 20,000 people.
However, it should be noted that in order to provide gas supply, get a bill of sale , and many other documents, the building companies give large bribes to the executive authorities and the relevant state agencies. Such issues are not resolved without bribes, therefore today, hundreds of residential buildings in Baku have no gas, and have not been approved by the state commission. -05D04-
