Grandson of Vice-Premier of Azerbaijan Arrested for Killing Two and Wounding Two People
Baku / 07.08.17 / Turan: On a serious incident in the evening of August 3 in the Narimanov district of Baku, when two people were killed and two others were injured, a criminal case was initiated under Article 263.3 (violation of traffic rules, which resulted in the death of two or more people). This is stated in a joint report of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General"s Office of the country.
It is a scandalous case when a young man Naeel Allahverdiyev, the grandson of Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov, made a race at frenzied speed with a friend and made an accident.
"According to the investigation materials, Naeel Allahverdiyev, born in 1994, was driving the Mercedes Gelandewagen. By a court decision he was arrested for 4 months.
The second auto hooligan, Mazda driver, Mirmuhammad Ismayilov was arrested administratively for one month.
"Despite warnings of the head of state, children of state officials continue to commit such criminal acts. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office declare that, despite the positions and merits, the most severe measures will be taken against children of state officials guilty of unlawful actions," the report says. -16D-
