The Council of State Support to NGOs held a report meeting on the results of 2014. The head of the council, MP Azay Guliyev said that 2014 was successful in terms of relevance and effectiveness of NGO projects implemented with state support.
In both halves of 2014 competitions for grants were announced. For a total of 386 projects 2 million 929 thousand manat was allocated.
The projects included 640 workshops, 287 seminars, 23 books published, 8 films shot and 5 websites developed.
In addition, with the support of the Board "corners of Karabakh" have been created in various European cities.
In 13 countries 27 projects with information "about Azerbaijani realities and propaganda of Azerbaijani culture" were implemented.
Through foreign NGOs work was carried out to inform about the Khojaly genocide.
Overall, in 2014, the focus was on educational projects.
Next Guliyev said that in the implementation of projects there will be "progressive" changes without explaining what it is. Immediately, he added that the goal of the projects is the same - "serve the national interests." -05C06
