Health of self-immolate spouses is heavy
Health of the spouses Elchin and Zhala Salakhovs who self-immolated themselves on August 13 before the administration of the President of Azerbaijan remains serious.
A woman is in the intensive care unit, a man is in an ordinary ward. The self-immolation of the spouses was due to unfair judgment.
A few years ago, they bought a house from Salakhov’s brother-in-law. Later, the man left the country, and his brothers and sisters demanded the home back, and the court ruled the eviction of Salakhovs.
E.Salahov is a veteran of the Karabakh war.
According to local media, after the tragic incident the authorities quickly sent their representatives to assure Salakhov that their housing problem will be solved. The authorities did the same in the end of last year, when the Karabakh war, veteran Zaur Hasanov, committed self-immolation in the center of Baku to protest against the weaning his cafe. This incident caused a public outrage. After a few days he died. -06D—
