So, on March 7, as a result of a fall of a piece of iron in the area of the May 28 metro station, 34-year-old Shafag Nametova died.
The wind blew away parts of the roofs of schools NN 278 and 319 and some buildings in Baku.
In the village of Bina, a fallen metal roof damaged a gas pipeline.
In the Garadagh region, the wind overturned a truck in motion.
In a number of places in Baku, trees torn out by the wind fell and damaged cars.
A billboard fell in the Binagadi region.
Power outages occurred in the Novkhany settlement.
According to the Ministry of Ecology, in Baku the wind speed reached 35 meters per second, and the height of the waves on the Oil Rocks in the Caspian Sea reached 4.8 meters.
On the evening of March 7, the Ministry of Emergency Situations urged the population not to leave their homes unless absolutely necessary. –22D06-

On January 29, municipal elections were held in Azerbaijan, with over 16,000 candidates participating across 118 constituencies. The Central Election Commission (CEC) has already announced the names of the leading candidates on its website. Hours after the election, CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov stated at a briefing that 413 out of 685 municipalities had already been formed, with 7,791 candidates identified as leaders.
