Baku/15.03.18/Turan: On Thursday, March 15, at the office of the National Committee of the Helsinki Civil Assembly, took place a presentation of the book "In the Light of the Gentle Soul" (Zərifruhunişığında) dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the famous philologist and public figure GulrukhKhanimAlibeyli.
Close relatives of GulkhurAlibeyli - creative intelligentsia, public figures - gathered at the presentation.
GulhurAliyeva taught aesthetics at the university and she was the bearer of the aesthetic perception of the world around her, said SadiyarAliyev about his mother.
Sadiyar demonstrated slides about the life and work of Gulhurkhanum, which was accompanied by favorite melodies ofGulhurkhanum, a writer and scholar, that passed away in 2016.
Many warm words were said at this evening about GulhurAliybayli.
"I was lucky to be her student at the university when she was just starting her teaching career," says cultural expert TogrulJuvarly. "We were at the small age, but she was already a light of a tender soul for us."
