Iranian smugglers detained in the Caspian
Baku/09.03.18/Turan: The country's border service reported on Friday the detention of two Iranian citizens - Mehran Yusif Nijat Tagi oglu (1985) and Jamzemi Ismail Shahvildi oglu (1984) in the Caspian Sea. According to the same source, on March 8 at 01:25 in the territory of the Astara region an unknown floating facility, violating the state border, entered the territorial waters of Azerbaijan. The frontier patrol boats began the pursuit and opened a warning fire. After more than two hours of persecution, the intruder was detained and two Iranians named above were found in it. They had tramadol tablets, and in the coastal zone - 74 one-liter bottles of vodka "Governor".
In the course of the preliminary investigation, it was established that this group attempted to illegally take out 450 liters bottles of vodka and 20 bottles of Baltika-9 beer in 39 packs, detained by border guards in the Lankaran region on February 15 Operational and investigative measures are ongoing. -02D-
