Journalist Rasim Aliyev Dead (update)
On Saturday, there was an attack on the journalist Rasim Aliyev and he was severely beaten. The reporter got multiple rib fractures and lost the hearing in his left ear. The reason for the attack on the journalist was the criticism he addressed on Facebook to the player of the soccer team Gabala Javid Huseynov.
Aliyev himself told Turan about this. He shared a message and a video from the site qaynar-info, which stated that on 6
August after the match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League between Gabala and Cyprus Apollo (Gabala won with a score of 1:0 and advanced to the playoffs the Europa League) on the question of a Cyprus journalist after the game why Huseynov raised the flag of Turkey, the footballer said, "Turks are my friends" and showed an obscene gesture to the media representative.
Aliyev, commenting on this, wrote that he did not want "a rude man that does not know how to behave" to represent the country in the fields of Europe.
According to Aliyev, after the publication of the status there were offensive comments on his page.
On Saturday afternoon he was called by a man who introduced himself as a cousin of Huseynov and began to insult and threaten him.
"Later Javid Huseynov called me. We had a normal conversation. He said that his gesture was not properly understood. In fact, he had in mind that Azerbaijan and Turkey are friendly countries. This is what I, too, wrote on Facebook. Then again called the man who introduced himself as a cousin of Javid Huseynov and also began to speak in a normal tone and even as a sign of reconciliation offered to meet to have tea. I said that we should not, but he insisted. Then I said that I was in Bayil and they came. I went to the meeting alone. There were 5-6 people, who immediately jumped on me and started beating me. I dropped the mobile phone and they took it and fled. I went to the local ambulance substation and they brought me to the Semashko Hospital (City Clinical Center). Now I am here," Aliyev told Turan.
According to the journalist, he has multiple fractures of the ribs. In addition, he cannot hear in his left ear.
The journalist intends to formally complain to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.
Rasim Aliyev is known for photos and video footage of events of social and political life of the country in a variety of online editions of the country.
FC Gabala is linked to Gilan Holding. The club's President is Taleh Heydarov, the son of the Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov. -06D--

In the last two days, a "news" story appeared on TikTok about a whale spotted on Baku's seaside boulevard. The most "observant" users posted videos, commenting on the size of the animal. Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
