According to the Department of Hydrometeorology of the Ministry of Ecology, the north-west wind will be replaced by a moderate southern wind by day. The air temperature will be 22-26 at night and 32-37 degrees by day. In Baku it will be 24-26 at night and 35-37 degrees by day.
The water temperature on the beaches of Absheron will range from +26 to +28 degrees.
As for the regions of Azerbaijan, precipitation is not expected there, and the westerly wind will increase in several places. The air temperature will be 21-26 degrees at night and 35-40 degrees in the daytime. In the mountains it will be 15-20 at night and 27-32 degrees by day. In NAR and in the central regions, the temperature will warm up to 42 degrees. -0--

A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. "Thanks to the urgent and necessary measures taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the spread of the fire to neighboring areas, including nearby residential buildings, has been prevented," the statement reads. Efforts to extinguish the fire are still ongoing.
