Man was killed in fire at building materials market
Baku/23.11.23/Turan: Early in the morning of 23 November, a fire broke out at the building materials market on Baku's Darnagul highway.
According to a joint statement of the General Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire burned a certain amount of wood inside the trading facilities. Entrepreneur Razi Gasymov (born in 1962) died in the fire.
Measures are being taken to extinguish the fire with the involvement of technical means and firefighters.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 225.2 of the Criminal Code (Violation of fire safety rules). Forensic fire-technical and commodity expertise has been appointed to establish the cause of the fire and the amount of damage, as well as forensic medical expertise to establish the cause of death of Razi Gasymov.
