The development of tourism in Azerbaijan and Georgia, the likelihood of the Customs Committee being transferred to another state structure, and the situation with breastfeeding are the topics of today's media.
The newspaper Azerbaijan analyzes the situation with tourism in the country and in neighboring Georgia. In 2018, 8.7 million tourists visited Georgia and 2.7 million visited Azerbaijan. The author notes that the roads in Azerbaijan are much better and the country is more tolerant (since they speak Russian here, unlike Georgia, where English is preferred).

The Yeni Sabah.az website discusses the possibility of liquidation of the Customs Committee with MP Vahid Ahmedov. According to him, we are not talking about combining Customs with the Ministry of Taxes, but about including both structures in the Ministry of Finance. However, while this issue is only being discussed and will not be implemented soon, the MP believes.
According to him, both structures are involved in collecting taxes to the budget, and the Ministry of Finance is assigned the function of supervising the budget.
The website Oxu.az writes on the topic of breastfeeding of babies. The website provides statistics according to which in 2000, for three months, 38.5 thousand babies were fed breast milk, and 33.4 thousand - for up to six months. Every year this figure is less and less.
