MOE Does Not Respond to Appeals of Individuals Suffered
A perennial tree fell down at 12 Talaat Shikhaliyev Street in the Narimanov district of Baku near School No 177 on September 8 about 18:00.
The correspondent of Turan reported from the scene that the tree’s trunk hit several cars standing in the shadows and severely damaged them. By happy coincidence, people were not injured.
Repeated appeals of citizens to the hotline 112 in the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the local authorities were to no avail. In particular, the Emergency Situations Ministry said there were no free cars to be sent to the scene and she could not get through to decision-makers.
In the end, the citizens were forced to hire a crane and pay to take the fallen tree from the territory. -03B-
