Baku Sabail Court today issued a warrant for the arrest of former Chief of State Flag area, Gosflaga Rashad Mammadov. Leaks in the media about it was made by police through the state-controlled media.
It is noteworthy that there is not yet official information about it , although this information has been circulating for several days. Turan failed to get comments in the Interior Ministry, National Security Ministry and Prosecutor General's Office is not possible.
Again, according to unofficial data, Mammadov is contained in the MNS's detention center, and is under investigation.
Rashad Mamedov was dismissed from the post of president of the country on May 4th. The reason was not specified. Soon, however, pro-government media have reported major fraud on the part of «Azimport», which is owned by Mammadov.
In particular, it was reported that Rashad Mammadov was involved in the theft of large sums of money allocated by the state for improvement in the area of the square flag and resettlement of residents from the area.
