One million manat for the football club "Karabakh"
In accordance with the decree of the President, for the successful of the football club "Karabakh" in the Euroleague and achievements in the development of football, one million manat were allocated from the Reserve Fund of the President for the Azerbaijan club "Karabakh."
The Ministry of Finance instructed to funding, according to the decree published on the website of the President.
The club "Karabakh" played well in the group stage, scored 5 points, but failed in the final part. The reason was biased officiating referee at the last match against the Italian "Inter", when the goal scored by "Karabakh" was not allowed, and the game ended in a draw. In case of victory, "Karabakh" would rank the second, reaching the final of the tournament.
On 5 February, 2015 UEFA Disciplinary Committee will consider the protest of “Karabakh.”- 02D-
