Parents of a soldier complain about the callousness of officers
Parents of a soldier Nurlan Aliyev held press conference in the Media Center IRFS due to their son’s health.
Father of a soldier Polad Aliyev said that his son was drafted into the army in January 2014 from Astara. He first served in Ganja , and in late February he was transferred to a military unit in Gedebey. Father claims that his son is healthy. However, w when he visited his son on April 8 he saw that his was sick with jaundice, he coughed, had high the temperature, but was not provided a medical service.
"My son has repeatedly told the commander that he did not feel well, however , a doctor Ghafar , said that he has no problems and send him to the positions," said the soldier 's father , accusing officers of worsening his son’s health.
After much complaints father managed to send his son to Ganja hospital for examination, and it was revealed that his son got hepatitis –B, and the soldier was sent for treatment in the Baku hospital where he is currently in the infectious disease department.
Despite the treatment lasted for a month, the soldier health has not improved , and parents worry.
Father wants to send his son for treatment to some clinic in Baku, but he cannot get a permission. Doctors explain the severe cough by smoking , but parents say that their son does not smoke. Therefore, parents have suggested that the treatment is carried out correctly.
Soldier's mother Sevda Aliyeva warned doctors that if something happens to her son she will commits an act of self-immolation in front of the hospital.
As to their son's disease, the parent connected it with the lack of control in a military unit, mistreatment of soldiers. In this regard, parents have turned to the head of state. Turan failed to get comments in a military hospital ( telephone line 541-13-13.) -05C04-
