Pizza Inn Forbidden to Bake Cakes and Pastries
During an inspection of staff by the State Committee for Standardization revealed violations in the popular cafe Pizza Inn, located in Fountain Square, the center of Baku.
Thus, during the raid by representatives of State Supervision Services Committee at Pizza Inn they found 4 pieces of overdue Barbecue Sausage weighing 350 g and 2 kg of tainted beef.
In addition, they revealed the absence of certificates of conformity for the prepared cakes and pastries. It is established that the products are baked without compounding and processing instructions, contrary to regulations. It was also revealed these products were kept for more than the authorized six hours.
The owner of the enterprise, the individual Natig Gadirov, was told of the need to address these deficiencies by May 12, and is banned from preparing and sale of biscuits, cream cakes and pastries.

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony. The invitation, delivered by Member of the European Parliament Michael Bloss at the COP29 climate conference, comes as Ibadoglu remains under house arrest and prohibited from leaving Azerbaijan.
