AMDF Appointed Rally in Baku on April 28
The Advisory Majlis (Council) of Democratic Forces (AMDF) appointed a rally in Baku on April 28, demanding democratic elections, termination of soldier deaths and anti-corruption. The head of the Open Society Party, Sulhaddin Akbar, told Turan.
According to him, the Executive Power was sent a notification to authorize the meeting in one of three locations: the squares in front of the cinema Tabriz, in front of the metro station Darnagul and near the home of celebrations Gizil Taj in Neighborhood No 4.
AMDF, in addition to the Open Society Party, whose leader is in exile, is the former parliament speaker Rasul Guliyev, and includes 11 other parties. -03B -

On Monday, the Baku Appeals Court considered the appeal of Talysh researcher Iqbal Abilov against the extension of his detention for another four months. The defense argued that the decision to extend Abilov's detention was unjustified, lawyer Fariz Namazly told reporters.
