Baku/06.07.23/Turan: In the Sabunchi district of Baku, on July 5, the local police conducted raids against cannabis cultivators in the villages of Mashtaga, Nardaran, Ramana and the "Layish Baglary" suburban area.
During the operational measures, 7 people growing cannabis were detained. 394 cannabis bushes weighing 12 kg were seized, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
According to the agency, 44 people were detained in June in the Sabunchi district in connection with drug-related crimes.
In total, since the beginning of the year, 48 kg of drugs of various types have been seized from illegal trafficking in the Sabunchi district. ----06B---
