The IV Congress of World Azerbaijanis, the business situation in the country, budget expenditures, and crediting problems are the leading topics of today's press.

The official newspaper Azerbaijan has published the statement by Ilham Aliyev at the IV Congress of World Azerbaijanis. He recalled that abroad there are more than 420 Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations, between which coordination is needed. According to the President, today the civil society of Azerbaijan demonstrates unity.

Azadlig has commented Ilham Aliyev's call to Azerbaijani businessmen around the world to invest in Azerbaijan. This appeal was made at the meeting of the IV Congress of World Azerbaijanis in Baku. The newspaper believes that the above is necessary to ensure democracy and create the conditions for business development. It means to remove monopolies, unofficial payments, corruption and bribery. In addition, Azerbaijan is in the list of non-free countries - therefore, Azerbaijani businessmen simply do not come here.

The subsistence minimum for 2016 in the country is defined as 136 manats, while for the working-age population it is at the level of 146 manats. The average Azerbaijani family consists of 4.5 persons. That is, the required amount of funds per family is 584.5 manats. After deducting the loan, the family should keep half of the revenue.

On average, the population of Azerbaijan monthly directs 93 million manats (2.7% of the revenues) to the repayment of loans.
