As Turan already reported, by decree of the President of Azerbaijan, a new system for issuing electronic visas called ASAN Visa is established in Azerbaijan, which promises to simplify the process of registration of electronic visas and the solution of the issue referred to the State Agency for Services to Citizens and Social Innovation ASAN Khidmet.
As said the head of the department of information support services Anar Huseynov, an innovative approach to the design will allow foreigners and stateless persons to quickly and easily get a visa after a preliminary introduction to the electronic form of data and state duty payment, the cost of which is being developed in accordance with international standards.
"Among other things, it is worth noting that the structure is designed to establish issuing permits for 3 working days, and the finished version is sent to the e-mail recipient. As you can see, the procedure is simple and convenient, and most importantly, it eliminates the time-consuming and minimizes effort. Another feature of the new design format is that the system will be informational and technical basis for the extensive work on the basis of the existing database. The ASAN Visa system supports the implementation of the tasks indicated in the direction of a single service delivery management centers. Thus, it is possible to achieve the objectives of coordination, monitoring and evaluation of public officials working in our centers. This is achieved by the mutual integration of information databases of state bodies, accelerating the process of organization of e-services, as well as improving the management system in this area. That is what allows us to achieve results," said the source.
Remarkable is the attitude to ASAN Visa of the head of the EU representation in Azerbaijan Malena Mard. She welcomed the innovation, for reasons of improving the tourism potential of the inhabitants of the European Union. The head of the diplomatic mission recalled that at a recent business forum of EU-Azerbaijan one of the issues was to simplify the visa regime.
