Official and pro-government newspapers write about the inauguration of President Ilham Aliyev.

 

Azadlig writes about the hurried inauguration of President Ilham Aliyev.  A group of political scientists believe that the hasty inauguration of Aliyev is an attempt to hurry to a close, the topic of elections. Political analysts also believe that the confirmation of the election results, without international opinion, will strengthen confrontation with the international community.

The TV channel Al Jazeera believes that the lack of pressure on Ilham Aliyev from the West, will cause an increase in corruption in Azerbaijan, as well as violations of human rights and freedoms.

 

The paper goes on to discuss the arrest of Orkhan Zeynalov, accused of murdering a Russian in Moscow. Several experts regard the excitement of the Kremlin over this subject, as the official policy of Moscow.

Political analysts believe that the attempt to obtain evidence from Parviz Hashimli, the arrested journalist, against Ali Kerimli, the head of the Popular Front Party, is due to the desire to transform the police into a political weapon.

 

Azadlig and Yeni Musavat warned that in case of a ban on the sale of these newspapers in the subway they will resort to protests.

 

Yeni Musavat considers the topic of the hasty inauguration of President Ilham Aliyev. Political analysts believe that the government could face serious international pressure.

 

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Bidzina Ivanishvili, urged Azerbaijanis living in the country to vote for George Margelashvili.

 

The newspaper writes about events in Gusar, where a police officer was killed and three others were wounded, noting that massive arrests of Wahhabis have started across the country.
