Representatives of the democratic public call to change the measure of restraint for R.Mirkadyrovu
Baku/24.05.14/Turan : A delegation of representatives of the democratic public of Azerbaijan has appealed to the Prosecutor General, Zakir Garalov, with a request to change the measure of restraint - arrest of journalist Rauf Mirkadirov.
A delegation consisting of the head of the National Council of Democratic Forces ( NCDF) Jamil Hasanli, Director of the Institute for Peace and Democracy (IPD ) Leyla Yunus, and the Head of Turan News Agency, Mehman Aliyev , came to the Prosecutor General's Office at 14:00 to personally deliver the message on behalf of the democratic public .
However, it was stated that the Attorney General could not accept them because " today is not a visiting day." Delegation was invited to put the letter to the letter-box at the reception. The appeal was passed this way. —06D--
