Residents of Nakhichevan restricted travel to Turkey
On March 3 in the Sadarak customs checkpoint on the border with Turkey, restricted border crossings for the residents of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR). From now on the residents of Nakhchivan allowed to go to Turkey only once a month by a private car. Until now, such trips were allowed once a week, Turan was told by sources in Nakhchivan. "This step deprived many people of earnings on food. As a rule, the residents of Nakhchivan were taken once a week to sell 100-150 liters of diesel fuel, and with the earned money they bought products, " said the source. According to the same sources, the authorities of Nakhchivan have also introduced a ban on the import of clothing and furniture from Turkey.
