Sharp change in weather conditions is expected from January 8
Baku/05.01.23/Turan: From the evening of January 7 to 12, a sharp change in weather conditions, precipitation in the form of wet snow and blizzards is expected in the territory of Azerbaijan, forecasters of the Ministry of Ecology of the country said in a statement.
The statement says that the air temperature in Baku and Absheron will gradually drop by 10-12 degrees as compared to previous days.
On January 10-11, it will be -2 in Baku at night, near zero in the afternoon.
Precipitation in the form of snow is also expected in the regions of the country; in some places the snowfall will be intense.
Air temperature at night in the lowlands will be -5 below zero, during the day up to +4.
In mountainous areas it will be - 10-15 below zero at night, -5 -8 during the day.-0-

Today, on September 26, a meeting is expected in New York between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia regarding peace negotiations. The meeting is set to take place with the participation of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
