Shootout with drug couriers on Iranian border, more than 95 kg of drugs confiscated
Baku/22.11.23/Turan: On November 20, border guards recorded a violation of the border with Iran by two violators on the territory near the village of Amirzeydili in Beylagan region.
On the order of the border guards to stop, the violators did not obey and opened fire. Then they ran back towards Iran.
During the inspection of the territory, a bag with 85 kg of opium and more than 10 kg of methamphetamine was found.
In fact, operational search activities are ongoing.
