Baku/05.10.23/Turan: Snow has fallen in the highlands of Azerbaijan – Shahdag (Guba), Goshgar (Dashkesan) and the Gadabey Mountains, the National Hydrometeorological Service said in a statement about the actual weather at 10.00 on Thursday.
Note that the height of the snow cover reaches 16 cm in Shahdag.
It has rained in most areas. The most intense precipitation fell in Lankaran (90 mm), Goychay (53 mm), Ismayilly (Ivanovka, 52 mm), Lerik (49 mm), Yardymly (44 mm), etc.
In Baku and Absheron, the strength of the north-western wind reached 18 m/s. The height of the sea waves at the Neft Dashlary station in the Caspian Sea was 3.2 m. Unstable windy weather with precipitation will continue until the middle of the day on October 5. Stable weather is expected on October 6, with no precipitation in most areas and moderate south-western wind. -06B-
