Strong fire on oil tanks in the village of Bail

The tank, where the fire occurred, belongs to a central oil collection of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
As spokesman for SOCAR Nizamaddin Guliyev said, the cause of the fire is under investigation. According to the preliminary conclusion, "inflammation occurred in the area." There were no injuries, Guliyev said.

A powerful explosion occurred on Thursday around 10.05 in the oil tanks in the village of Bail located above the 20 Plot circle on the road. The explosion caused a fire, burning 7-8 tanks, the correspondent of Turan said. One-storey residential buildings are located close to the area.
Six fire brigades arrived, but they do not cope with the fire.
The flame height is 30 meters. The whole neighborhood is covered with black smoke .
An ambulance brigade arrived on the scene.
