Thale Bagirzadeh Extended Arrest Term
The Nasimi District Court of Baku extended the arrest of the leader of the movement Muslim Unity Thale Bagirzadeh for another three months, his lawyer Javad Javadov said.
According to the court, Bagirzadeh will remain in custody until June 26. The defense will appeal the court's decision.
* Bagirzadeh together with a group of believers was detained during a special operation in the village of Nardaran on November 26, 2015. A preventive measure of four-month detention was chosen for him. He was charged under 15 articles of the Criminal Code, including an attempt to violent change of the constitutional system.
